For Christmas in 2017, the Club provided groceries for families and bought Korte’s certificates for 4 families, plus a total of 38 Target and Walmart gift cards, trees, toys, bikes, and other gift cards for seniors and young adults.

Because of the Club’s work, a total of 51 families had a brighter and happier Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Safe Summer Nights Out Services

Besides the Holiday events, during the summer, the Club participates with the St. Paul Police Department doing 11 Safe Nights Out events. People come to local recreational centers within St. Paul to share food and games and meet police officers on an informal basis.  Also one of the Club members gets sponsors for all of the food for these events. A typical Summer Night Out event draws between 500-1000 participants.  All Safe Summer Night outings are free.

Testimonial

Above all, thank you West 7th Boys Club for the many times you responded to my needs over the past four years. I am so grateful. As a way of giving back for what I have received, I am donating my tax returns to the West 7th Street Boys Club. I know that it will be put to good use. Thank you for your generous help over the years.
